Judging change for Durham

Mark Wilkinson will join Alan Morrison in judging the North of England Championships this weekend after Roger Webster withdraws due to illness.

4BR has been informed by the North of England Regional Secretary, Tony Griffiths, of a change in adjudicator for this weekend's competitions that take place at the Gala Theatre in Durham.

Webster withdraws

Due to illness, Dr Roger Webster who was due to adjudicate the Championship, Third and Fourth Sections has stepped down and has been replaced by Mark Wilkinson.

Mark who is conducting Penrith Town in the Fourth Section will now take responsibility for the Third and Championship Sections on Sunday.

Double header for Alan

The chairman of AoBBA, Alan Morrison will therefore oversee both the Fourth and First Sections on Saturday and the Second Section on Sunday afternoon.

In announcing the late change, Tony told 4BR "We are sorry that Roger has had to withdraw. We all wish him well and a speedy recovery and hope to welcome him to the North of England in future years.

We are most grateful to Mark Wilkinson for stepping in and it will be a pleasure to welcome both Alan & Mark to Durham next weekend."
