Talented youngsters from Middleton Youth and Besses Boys Youth are to join forces to form a brand new North Manchester Youth Band in order to enter the forthcoming National Youth Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

Forward thinking

As self-financing, forward thinking local organisations, the bands have taken the innovative step to collaborate to form a new ensemble for the contest and, depending on the success of the project, other future events.

4BR was informed that the initiative has been undertaken with the co-operation and backing of Brass Bands England, who thought it a great idea.
