The delighted winner was Angela Blythe of Uppermill, who only started learning to play the tenor horn six months ago, after being a brass band fan ever since her son Richard started playing percussion.
He's now paying with Fairey Band, and Angela wanted to still be involved — so took up the tenor horn. She's just invested in a great vintage 'roundstamp' Sovereign, so she hopes the cleaning kit will keep the instrument in tip-top condition.
