Awards season for Besses Boys

Besses Boys and Besses Boys Youth Band have been rewarding their players.

Besses Boys Band recently handed out their annual awards. Held at the local Unsworth Cricket Club the event saw awards presented to both senior and youth band members.

A brand new award was made for the first time this year with the James Holt Award to the Bandsperson of the Year. The inaugural recipient was solo euphonium player Ben Corbridge.

Youth Band:
Most improved Player: George Radford
Best Attendance : Josh Ryan
MD's Player of the Year: Toby Taylor
Most Promising New Recruit: Lucy Thomas
