Besses Boys act quick to fill gaps

Besses Boys Band has welcomed a brace of new signings.

Besses Boys Band has announced the signing of two new players.

Following departures after the North West Area contest, the band has moved quickly to fill the vacancies, with euphonium player Neil Venables joining from Sale Brass, and Eb tuba Luke Rongong coming in from Hawk Green Band.

Speaking of the new signings MD James Holt told 4BR: "I'm delighted to welcome Neil and Luke to the band.

I played alongside Neil at Sale Brass and he has been a regular 'dep' with us, whilst Luke has already established himself as part of our bass team. Both have settled quickly and I hope they will be with us for many years to come."
