Boult welcomes brass before demolition job

A City of Sounds series of concerts will take place at the Adrian Boult Hall in Birmingham before it is demolished — headed by Welsh champion Tredegar.

The forthcoming demolition of the Adrian Boult Hall in Birmingham in June has inspired a final series of concerts at the famous venue as part of Birmingham Conservatoire's 'City of Sounds' Festival

Series of performances

The series will include performances from a number of brass ensembles and bands — including Birmingham Conservatoire Symphonic Brass Ensemble, Birmingham Citadel Band of the Salvation Army with guests William Himes, Derick and Stephen Kane, and Birmingham Conservatoire Brass Band & Symphonic Brass alongside recently crowned Welsh Champions Tredegar featuring soloist Matthew White.
