Geneva take over Amati-Denak

Geneva Musical Instruments strengthen production base with purchase of Amati-Denak as they increase product portfolio.

Geneva

After over a year of negotiations, Geneva Instruments have announced that they have become the new owners of the Czech Republic musical instrument company Amati-Denak.

Delighted

A delighted Geneva founder Tim Oldroyd told 4BR: "We started buying parts from Amati-Denak around eight years ago and we developed an outstanding link together, which eventually saw them build and finish our Geneva Instruments. We were keen to make the link more permanent and have now done that with the purchase."

Fantastic workers

Tim added: "Amati has fantastic workers with wonderful skills allied to a great work ethic, determination and passion for the brands they produce. This is a world class company in Kraslice with talent that has been passed down through generations."

Tim revealed that Geneva will now add several new as well as several well respected brand names to its Geneva Group portfolio — including Geneva Instruments, Amati-Denak, VF Cerveny, Oldroyd Cardinal, Blow Monkey Saxophones, Boosey & Hawkes Musical Instruments and Verbier Mouthpieces.

Global

He concluded: "Over the next few months the Geneva Group will be developing new global distributors and retailers to introduce these world-class products to the market place."
