Places still up for grabs on Framlingham Course

There are still some places for brass and percussion delegates on the popular Framlingham Brass Band Summer School.

4BR has been informed that there are still places up for grabs on the popular Framlingham Brass Band Summer School.

Plans are well advanced for the week-long event which takes place in the beautiful Suffolk town overlooking Framlingham Castle.

Time

The School commences on Sunday 7th August and runs through until Saturday 13th August, with a limited number of places brass and percussion places still left to be filled.

The event celebrates its 32nd anniversary and will be led by Course Director Richard Evans and the teaching staff includes David Childs, Nick Hudson, Owen Farr, Paul Lovatt-Cooper, Steve Sykes, Brian Taylor and James Fountain.

July 21 • Due to ill health, Longridge Band invite applications for a SOLO HORN. We are a friendly, committed band, who enjoy a good balance of concerts and contests throughout the year. We rehearse 10 minutes from Jct 31A of the M6, on Wednesday and Friday evening

July 20 • North Lakes Brass are seeking a CONDUCTOR with the drive to take our friendly band into the 2nd section. . We are different from most contesting bands as we rehearse just once a week (Wed), have 2 full band concerts & 4-5 contests per year.

July 18 • Second Trombone vacancy. A friendly Midlands 1st Section Band, Rushden are looking for a Second Trombone player to come and join us. Great repertoire and concerts plus contests twice per year. Every other year, the band goes on tour.
