Fingers on buzzers at John Packer

John Packer Ltd has a fantastic selection of the brilliant K&G tuba mouthpieces and buzzers in stock — so get ready for your starter for 10...

K&G

John Packer Ltd has just taken stock of the latest tuba mouthpieces from renowned makers K&G.

The newly developed tuba mouthpieces were created with the same principles of all K&G designs; engineered for extreme comfort, lip support, flexibility and high definition attacks.

Range

The range comes in four different rim sizes — from 30.5mm and 33.5mm, with the well-balanced cup producing a robust and broad sound in all registers.

The design also helps the air-flow smoothly to the throat, transforming all the air in full resonant dark timbre with a clear articulation, followed by measured resistance.

All these features result in the player having maximum control and pitch stability.

Mouthpiece buzzers

In further development from K&G, mouthpiece 'Buzzers' are now also available for trombones, baritones and euphoniums in large and small shanks.

Most players use the buzzing technique before warming up as their daily routine. It allows you to practice buzzing through your mouthpiece with normal resistance whilst holding your instrument in a standard playing position.

The benefits of this technique have been confirmed by many brass players.
