Cory to provide pre-results entertainment at Albert Hall

The world's number 1 ranked band will be showcasing their entertainment talents before the announcement of the National results at the Albert Hall next month.

Kapitol Promotions has announced that current Brass in Concert, European, British Open and defending National champion Cory will provide the pre-results concert before the awards ceremony at the National Final at the Royal Albert Hall next month.

Memorable day

As part of what promised to be a memorable day's musical contesting on Saturday 8th October, the band will perform an entertaining programme, which will include: 'Malambo', 'The Thieving Magpie', 'Live and Let Die', 'Cute', 'Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)' and the main theme from 'Star Wars'.

Iles and Mortimer Medals

The awards ceremony will also feature the presentation of the 2016 Iles and Mortimer Medals by the Worshipful Company of Musicians to conductor, Russell Gray and youth band leader, Samantha Harrison respectively.

This is the first time that the medals are to be presented at the National Final.
