Worldwide entry list for Foden's contest

There are entries from all over the banding world coming to Sandbach for the Foden's Solo, Duet and Quartet competition — but more foursomes are required!

Fodens
Players young and old are heading to Sandbach once more to claim great prizes.

Foden's Band has received entries from all corners of the banding globe for their forthcoming Open Solo, Duet & Quartet competition which takes place on the 29th October in Sandbach.

Worldwide

There has already been a fantastic response from players within the UK, but it has been topped this year by competitors coming from Belgium, Norway and China, attracted by the generous prizes, bursaries, commissions and cash awards, as well as a special Blue Riband Award which will announced shortly.

Quartet plea

The only disappointment at present is that there are so few entries in the quartet classes, so players are being asked to give it a go. The deadline for entries has therefore been extended for these categories to the 22th October.

Entries to the 11 & Under Quartets can play just 2 verses of a hymn tune to work on quality of sound, balance, tuning etc.
