The 40th Brass in Concert Championship takes place on Sunday 20th November at The Sage Gateshead.

It's one of the blue ribbon events in the UK banding calendar and one of the leading entertainment contests in the world, attracting bands from all over the world.

Frank Renton features the 2016 winning performance and talks to the event's chairman Trevor Caffull in this special anniversary year.
