Fresh from their recent triumph at the Siddis Entertainment Championships in Stavanger, Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag is making its first concert appearance at the Swedish National Championships.

Two concerts

Under the baton of Reid Gilje who led them to their Siddis success, they will perform a programme of varied styles and genres on Saturday evening (12th November) before the announcement of the results and also at the wonderful Asenhøga Church on Sunday morning.

Despite Sweden being our closest banding neighbour, this is the first time we have been invited to the event — and we are all thoroughly looking forward to itBand spokesperson Viggo Bjorge

First visit

Band spokesperson Viggo Bjorge told 4BR: "Despite Sweden being our closest banding neighbour, this is the first time we have been invited to the event — and we are all thoroughly looking forward to it.

We have received congratulations from Eikanger fans throughout the world following our Siddis success and we are keen to make more on what promises to be a wonderful weekend of music making."
