JP Euphs gain specialist backing

Instrument specialist Kate Williams gives backing to superior JP euphoniums.

Kate Williams found the JP euphoniums to be superior instruments when asked to test them

John Packer recently asked Kate Williams, principal baritone of Desford Colliery Band and the Euphonium specialist at the SIPS Education Music & Arts Service to test our JP274, JP374 Sterling & JP374 Sterling Trigger models.

And after putting them through their paces, she was very impressed...

"As part of my job I recently appraised three John Packer euphoniums on behalf of our students.

All were superior instruments and striking examples of the modern style of instrument design as well as displaying a high quality of build. Added to the fantastic prices being asked, they were superb instruments at a fantastic price."

Impressions

On the JP274 Kate said: "I have no hesitation in recommending this model to any of my students hoping to take their music making to a higher level."

Meanwhile, the JP374 Sterling models also made an impression: "These really are instruments that demand a place high up in the brass retail market and I will be happy to recommend any of them to prospective purchasers of the appropriate standard."

Kate added: "They feel exceptionally comfortable to hold and the playing position dictated by the design seems completely natural assuring the performer that they are playing an instrument of pure quality.

Articulation, dynamic extremes, intonation and freedom of flexibility are outstanding."

I have no hesitation in recommending this model (JP274) to any of my students hoping to take their music making to a higher level
