The Reg Vardy Band has wished its former principal cornet player Phillip Tait every success as the cornet star takes on a new role at Brighouse & Rastrick.

Notable performances

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Phillip held the Principal Cornet seat at Reg Vardy since September 2014, and in this time proved his worth as a soloist and cornet section leader, with notable performances at the major national contests.

He also brought new and exciting ideas to the band after his time at Birmingham Conservatoire of Music and Tredegar Band, and we would like to thank him for his invaluable service and input."
