Planned engineering work on the train line between Preston and Blackpool North means that anyone travelling to Blackpool for the forthcoming Action Research or North West Regional Championships brass band events will need to give themselves extra time to get there.
Bus replacement
With the line closed over the weekends of 11th/12th and 25th/26th February it means replacement bus services will take commuters from Preston to Blackpool on those dates.
If you want to make sure you are there in plenty of time, then you'll need to plan ahead and not be derailed — literally.
