Foden's come with gifts for loyal patrons

The defending North West Regional Champion enjoys a great response from their loyal patron's.

Fodens
Foden's thanked their loyal patrons with gifts and a preview of Pageantry.

Foden's Band recently held their annual Patrons Concert at a packed local Sandbach School, which gave the defending North West Regional Champion the opportunity to thank their loyal supporters with a number of free gifts to celebrate 30 years of a society which now boasts over 500 members.

CD release

The annual concert also saw the release of their latest 'Patrons Choice' CD — the tenth in the hugely popular series, with the programme consisting of tracks from the latest CD, including a number of their star soloists. One of which was principal cornet Mark Wilkinson, who received a wonderful reception after Michael Fowles announced that he had just notched up 25 years of outstanding service.

Pageantry preview

And with Foden's defending their North West Area title at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool the concert also gave the opportunity to perform 'Pageantry' under the direction of Prof Nicholas Childs who made a welcome return to Sandbach for the event.

Also included were the presentations of annual awards, which this year saw Melanie Whyle presented with the 'Player of the Year' accolade and Andy Rolfe taking the 'Bandsperson of the Year' award.
