A brand new brass band that will only rehearse in the daytime to fit in with people's hobbies and pastimes has been formed near Sidmouth in Devon.

Naturally, the Devon Daytime Band has arranged its inaugural rehearsal for 9.30 am — 11.30 am on Wednesday 22nd March at the Tipton St John Community Hall, Tipton St John, (EX10 0AF) in the hope that they will be able to attract players who want to enjoy music making in a more relaxed environment.

Chairman, Trevor Heynes told 4BR: "We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of brass band players and anyone who is interested in making music together will be warmly welcomed."
