Farr set for Salford visit

Besson tenor horn artist Owen Farr will be visiting the University of Salford later this month to work with the Adelphi Brass Band and soloists.

The University of Salford will be hosting Besson tenor horn artist Owen Farr on Tuesday 28th March, when he visits the Music & Dance Directorate to work with the Adelphi Brass Band and soloists.

Owen is the International Brass Tutor for the Musical Arts programme and will be working with students as they prepare for their end of year performance exams.

Impressive list

Dr Brett Baker Programme Leader told 4BR: "I'm excited about Owen's visit. We've a very impressive list of tutors within Musical Arts and Owen will add a new dimension to our talented performers as they prepare for their recitals.

We have a few vacancies on percussion, saxophone and tenor horn for those interested in studying at Salford this September".
