Argyle returns to boost Rothwell top end progress

Sop star Paul Argyle returns to Rothwell Temperance to give Yorkshire top flight band another player boost.

Rothwell Temperance has been reunited with one of its longest serving former members and one of the UKs top rated soprano players, with the news that Paul Argyle has returned to the band with immediate effect.

Commenting on the announcement, MD Dave Roberts told 4BR: "After five years away I'm delighted Paul is returning. It marks the start of a really exciting time for the band with Paul back on soprano and Jon Hammond on principal cornet.

Paul has always impressed on every performance and Jon is already showing outstanding quality and leadership in the cornet section."
