Besses o' th' Barn Band has announced the appointment of Trevor Halliwell as their new Musical Director.
Respected
The highly respected player, teacher, adjudicator and conductor has a life-long connection to the banding world — having been a former Champion Soloist of Great Britain and a leading player with the likes of Wingates and Foden's . He also held the position of principal trumpet with the Haffner Orchestra.
He has previously conducted the lies of Stalybridge, Marple and Hoover Bolton, and more recently led Golborne Band to promotion to the Second Section.
