The National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain has announced that Geneva Instruments will no longer be sponsoring the contest series.

No agreement

Philip Morris, Director of Kapitol Promotions stated: "Unfortunately, this year we were unable to come to a sponsorship agreement with Geneva Instruments regarding the Finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.

However, I would like to place on record my thanks to Geneva Instruments for their support of the Nationals over many years".

Other events

Geneva became sponsors in 2012, and in recent years has extended their sponsorship to other events — most notably the 2017 European Brass Band Championships.
