Fraser legacy to be continued with Scottish youth

A great act of generosity will see the music and the memory of the popular composer and conductor Bruce Fraser live on at the National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland.

The legacy of the late composer, arranger, teacher and conductor Bruce Fraser will live on through his music, thanks to the generosity of his close friend, Nigel Durno from the music publishing and retail company Just Music.

Fitting tribute

Bruce passed away in February of this year but, in a fitting tribute, Nigel has kindly donated music written by him to the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) for its forthcoming summer course at Strathallan.

The NYBBS Children's Band will perform his fun-packed 'Caribbean Holiday' as well as his 'Toccata'.
