Bolsover delegates enjoying the musical mix and match

Trips to some great venues and music that is both enjoyable and challenging is proving a winning mix at the Bolsover Summer School led by Brett Baker and David Thornton.

The delegates on the Bolsover Summer School continue to enjoy a great mix of hard work and relaxation led by Brett Baker and David Thornton.

Great mix

45 playing delegates from around the banding world have already enjoyed the carefully balanced mix, with waterways, Abbeys and beautiful gardens alongside challenging repertoire that includes works by Edward Gregson, Gordon Langford, Philip Sparke, Peter Graham and Paul Lovatt-Cooper.

Wednesday evening's Tutor's Concert was a great event, with the delegates treated to fantastic some fantastic displays, whilst Thursday (27th July) sees the delegates making a concert trip to Renishaw Hall & Gardens, Renishaw Park, Chesterfield (S21 3WB) from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

The course will culminate in a free concert on Friday (7.00pm) at the Heritage High School, in Clowne directed by Brett Baker and David Thornton, with guest soloist Mark Wilkinson (above)4BR

Harlow Brass Band

February 27 • We are a friendly, non-contesting band who have the following vacancies:. Trombones, 2nd Horn, Back Row Cornets, Percussion. . We rehearse every Thursday in Harlow, 8-10pm and play at local events throughout the year.
