Entries open for Pogson Bray

Entries are now open for the 2017 Pogson Bray Trust Entertainment contest which takes place on Sunday 15th October at Berties Banqueting Hall in Elland, Yorkshire.

The event caters for Second, Third and Fourth Section bands along with Youth and Unregistered bands.

Get in touch

Bands in the Yorkshire region and member bands of the Yorkshire and Humberside Brass Band Association should have already received details of the contest along with entry forms/contest details.

If your band has not received these, or other bands who may wish to enter should contact the contest controller Andrew Hudson at andrewofkirklees@aol.com or by phone 01484 606823.

Closing date for entries is Friday 1st September

Harlow Brass Band

February 27 • We are a friendly, non-contesting band who have the following vacancies:. Trombones, 2nd Horn, Back Row Cornets, Percussion. . We rehearse every Thursday in Harlow, 8-10pm and play at local events throughout the year.

Newmarket Town Band

February 27 • Newmarket Town Band is inviting applications for the post of 'Musical Director'. We are a non-contesting band who play to a high standard with regular bookings throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays 7:30 - 9:30pm
