The 2018 Flemish Open Brass Band Championship is seeking entries to its event next April.

The seventh series of the entertainment format event is hosted by Brass Band Hombeek and attracts bands from around Europe. The closing date for entries is 1st December.

Format

Three adjudicators will evaluate the 30 minute programmes of each participating bands in four sections: Sections C and A will play on Saturday with Sections D and B the following day. The judges are Jan de Haan (Netherlands), Blaise HÃ©ritier (Switzerland and Brett Baker (United Kingdom).

Each band will have to perform a set short work, the titles and publishers of which will be released shortly, whilst there is a generous prize list.
