Muted silver anniversary celebrations for Derwent

Derwent Brass celebrate their 25th anniversary quietly with their latest presents...

Derwent Brass
The latest Derwent Brass anniversary celebrations have been muted...

Derwent Brass continues to celebrate its silver anniversary with yet more presents — this time in the form of a full range of cup and bucket mutes.

Perfect choice

To keep pace with their busy celebratory schedule, the band turned to Mike McLean, hand makers of the 'Pitch Perfect' range of fibreglass mutes, with Band Manager Chris Leonard telling 4BR: "We wanted mutes with an outstanding reputation for quality and for sound, so Mike was the perfect choice in more ways than one."

They added: "The range fits the bill perfectly and has also been developed to suit our exact instrument range. Mike has been very accommodating in not only providing us with a great deal, but also offering an excellent level of service.

Adding this array of mutes to our inventory really cements the notion of being an established top section band."

Success

In response Mike himself added: "I'd like to thank Derwent Brass for the opportunity to help such a great bunch of people and wish the band every success with all their endeavours this anniversary year and beyond."
