With stopovers to enjoy a Slavonic dance, a Greek dance, a cream tea in Cornwall and a Mexican Hat Dance, Frank Renton joins some great bands and players enjoying the rhythms and cultures of a mystery musical tour.

In his look back over the year's CDs, Frank Renton spotlights the new National Champion Brighouse & Rastrick playing music a million miles away from the competition arena.

Cory's 'Storyteller' CD gets the top spot with some incredible playing, Black Dyke celebrated the ever popular music of Paul Lovatt-Cooper and we salute the final recording for the outgoing Principal Director of Music at The Royal Marines Lt. Col Nick Grace OBE.

We've also been looking high and low, far and wide and even 'Over the Horizon' for a 'CD of the Year', and it sets a very high bench mark in the world of soprano cornet players.

Harlow Brass Band

February 27 • We are a friendly, non-contesting band who have the following vacancies:. Trombones, 2nd Horn, Back Row Cornets, Percussion. . We rehearse every Thursday in Harlow, 8-10pm and play at local events throughout the year.
