The death has been announced of David Bratt, one of the most respected contest administrators and officials in UK banding.

Dedicated

Although not a brass player for well over 30 years David was a dedicated and enthusiastic official at numerous competitions, including regional events such as Fleetwood, Brass at the Guild and Tameside Open to the English Nationals, National Youth, Pontins, Spring Festival and British Open events.

He was also a stalwart committee member and minute secretary of Preston District of the North West Brass Band Association, North West Counties Brass Band Association, British Federation of Brass Bands and Lancashire Contests.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday 29th November at 12.45pm at St Lukes, Orrell, followed at 2.00pm at St Helens Crematorium4BR

Harlow Brass Band

February 27 • We are a friendly, non-contesting band who have the following vacancies:. Trombones, 2nd Horn, Back Row Cornets, Percussion. . We rehearse every Thursday in Harlow, 8-10pm and play at local events throughout the year.
