Godley's cream given retrospective

The work of renowned i-pad artist Mik Godley has been given a retrospective by the influential East Midlands Contemporary Visual Arts Network — including the innovative Portraits of Tibshelf project.

The influential East Midlands Contemporary Visual Arts Network has just featured a retrospective of the work of the renowned i-pad artist Mik Godley.

Earlier this year Mik was commissioned through a project funded by Bolsover District Council to work alongside composer Jonathan Bates and Black Dyke Band for the innovative 'Portraits of Tibshelf' initiative, which celebrated the unique history of the former mining industry area by involving the pupils from local primary schools, the local community and private housing developers.

The 'Re-Meet the Artist' showcases his current work as well as 'Portraits of Tibshelf'.
