All-time high for Eikanger-Bjørsvik following their victory at Brass in Concert last month.

A busy month throughout the world of brass band contesting has resulted in considerable movement throughout the Band Supplies — British Bandsman Rankings.

Eikanger-Bjørsvik's historic victory at Brass in Concert sees it move to an all-time high number three. Despite a relatively disappointing 2018 Cory remains well ahead of the pack and looks set to stay there at least until September next year, but who knows what might be ahead for the leading bands in 2018?

Harlow Brass Band

February 27 • We are a friendly, non-contesting band who have the following vacancies:. Trombones, 2nd Horn, Back Row Cornets, Percussion. . We rehearse every Thursday in Harlow, 8-10pm and play at local events throughout the year.


Newmarket Town Band

February 27 • Newmarket Town Band is inviting applications for the post of 'Musical Director'. We are a non-contesting band who play to a high standard with regular bookings throughout the year. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays 7:30 - 9:30pm
