New premises as Centre Stage continues to grow

Substantial worldwide growth sees the Centre Stage Group move to new premises

Centre Stage
MD Martin Gernon will soon be moved into his new premises

The Centre Stage Group has completed the purchase of a brand new 8,000sqft building in Rochdale as part of their expansion strategy.

The three companies in the group have all enjoyed substantial growth over the last two years and as a result have outgrown its existing premises in West Yorkshire.

As well as the increased floor space, the new building includes state of the art stacking and delivery bays, a bespoke office area and workshop complex over two floors.

Huge growth

Group MD, Martin Gernon told 4BR: "The three companies have all experienced huge growth and order books are bulging. The new premises offer considerably more in-house infrastructure and growth potential, housing showrooms, workshop, meeting rooms and a new space for the latest art embroidery machines.

Our move to Rochdale has been facilitated by the excellent inward investment team at Rochdale Council who have been extremely supportive."

Design studio

Martin revealed that the new premises will also incorporate a design studio with CAD facilities, offices and AV media room, whilst the warehouse facilities have space for over 450 pallets of stock. The warehouse will be in use by mid February with the offices and design centre completed by May.

...we are also looking to create a further 12 jobs across the Group. This will underpin our support and commitment to the individual companies and provide the infrastructure required to meet our growing worldwide demandMartin Gernon

New jobs

He added: "As well as the new premises, we are also looking to create a further 12 jobs across the Group. This will underpin our support and commitment to the individual companies and provide the infrastructure required to meet our growing worldwide demand.

All this and we look towards further developments and innovations planned for the rest of this year and beyond."
