All the competitive focus today is on Huddersfield Town Hall where the Yorkshire Regional First and Championship Section titles will be decided.

Championship climax

The action is already underway with the climax of the weekend being the Championship Section event where defending champion Black Dyke is up against a dozen rivals all looking to get to the Royal Albert Hall.

Packed to the rafters

Despite the weather the place is sure to be packed to the rafters for one of the iconic contests in the UK brass band calendar.
