Williams duo set to inspire Cornish Youth

Glyn and Helen Williams will be leading the way with the Cornish Youth Band on their forthcoming Easter Course.

Cory star Helen Williams will be the guest soloist on this year's Easter Course.

The Cornwall Youth Brass Band will be holding auditions and an open rehearsal for new musicians from on Sunday 1st April (1.30pm to 4.00pm) during their forthcoming Easter Residential Course.

It is hoped that a new generation of young players will come along to join the band for their next season in September. They will be able to find out more about the band by meeting up with local conductor Darren Hawken and some of the experienced tutors.

This year's Easter course which will be held at Truro High School for Girls will close with a concert on 2nd April at St Michael's Church in Newquay under guest conductor Glyn Williams. The guest soloist will be Cory flugel star Helen Williams.
