If you are anywhere near Perth in Scotland this evening then why not go along and enjoy a great evening of brass band entertainment at Perth Concert Hall at 7.30pm, where the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland and Cory Band will be in action.

Led by Richard Evans and Russell Gray, the NYBBS will lead things off with a fantastic programme of music, before their Welsh friends join them to round off the first half.

Great time

Philip Harper then takes over after the break with the world's number 1 ranked band, fresh from winning the Welsh regional title in Swansea last month.

"We have already had a great time on our way to Perth,"Phil told 4BR earlier today. "It's not often you get to see players have a snowball fight in April before a rehearsal, so I knew we were in for a fun time with the two bands."

I know the National Youth Band are on brilliant form after hearing them in action when they warmed up after their escapades, and I know Cory will be on full entertainment mode too, so come along and enjoy yourselvesPhil Harper

Brilliant form

Phil also added that there is sure to be a musical treat for everyone tonight. "I know the National Youth Band are on brilliant form after hearing them in action when they warmed up after their escapades, and I know Cory will be on full entertainment mode too, so come along and enjoy yourselves — I know we are going to!"

The special 60th anniversary event at Perth Concert Hall starts at 7.30pm with tickets available at the hall.
