Roberts Bakery look towards busy future

The Roberts Bakery Band will be enjoying a very busy period of music making in the next few weeks under the baton of Paul Lovatt-Cooper.

Roberts Bakery Band is currently enjoying a fine period of success on both the contest and concert stage, with their most recent performance taking place at Boarshurst Band Club with Black Dyke flugel star, Zoe Hancock.

Busy period

Brass band fans around the world were able to enjoy the band in action including the Senior Trophy test piece Eric Ball's 'A Kensington Concerto'.

After this weekend's performance the band has a busy period of concert and project work, including a concert with internationally acclaimed soprano vocalist Jessica Thayer.

There is a real buzz about the band at the present time and we hope our performances at Boarshurst, Blackpool this weekend and our high profile concert and projects will encourage like minded players to come and join usPLC

March 18 • Tintwistle Band are looking for a 2nd euphonium and 2nd baritone player to help complete the team.. We rehearse Monday and Thursday 8-10pm at our own bandroom on Old Road in Tintwistle, and perform a variety of concerts all year round.
