The organisers of the British Open Championship have announced that the date of the 2019 Spring Festival Contest has been moved to the 18th May at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
It follows a decision made by the Winter Gardens management which has been notified to the British Open today (14th May), following Saturday's successful event.
The 99th contest will now be held a week later than advertised on Saturday 18th May. All competing bands at the 2018 event will be notified accordinglyBritish Open Championship organisers

A British Open spokesperson told 4BR: "Unfortunately the decision was made after the printing of this year's programme and was not finalised until after the Spring Festival Championships on the weekend.
The 99th contest will now be held a week later than advertised on Saturday 18th May. All competing bands at the 2018 event will be notified accordingly."
