Youth Brass 2000 has been flying the flag for the UK right in the heart of Europe this week on a great trip to play at Allan Withington's Summer School in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands.

Leeuwarden is the 2018 European City of Culture, whilst Allan's course is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year — so the invitation for the reigning European, British Open and National Champion of Great Britain to visit the event was too good to miss.

Huge success

The four day tour has already been a huge success — with record crowds packing in to hear them perform under MD Chris Jeans.

"The reception we've enjoyed has been incredible,"spokesperson Don Collins told 4BR. "There has been such an appreciation from the crowds of the talent of the youngsters.
