UniBrass set for Bangor in 2019

It has been announced that the 2019 UniBrass Championships will be held 2nd February at Bangor University in north Wales.

Welcome

A spokesperson for the UniBrass organiSers told B4R: "University brass bands from around the UK will be welcomed to Bangor to compete in the Trophy and Shield contests.

Full details will be announced in due course, but we look forward to seeing everyone in Bangor, and hope to make UniBrass 2019 the biggest contest yet."

Name the dragon

It's also been announced that to celebrate the release of a new contest logo (above) the organising committee is running a competition to name the dragon mascot.

If you would like to enter a name contact: marketing@unibrass.co.uk or via social media with your suggestions.

Entries for the 'Name the Dragon' close at 12 noon on 14th July. The winner will be announced on 16th July and will receive a UniBrass contest t-shirt.
