New players and experienced conducing leadership further strengthen Kirkintilloch's long term rejuvenation plans.

  The experienced Raymond Tennant will lead the band at the Scottish Open Championship

The Kirkintilloch Band has announced a number of new arrivals ahead of their Scottish Open challenge in Perth next month.

Sam Lunn joins on euphonium with Alex Bland filling the solo trombone role following his move north to study for a Masters Degree at Heriot Watt University. Jim Corrigan returns on solo baritone to add a further welcome level of top level experience.

Conductors

In addition, Raymond Tennant makes a welcome return to lead the band at the contest, renewing a partnership that has a long and successful pedigree.

The band has also confirmed that Rothwell Temperance MD David Roberts will return to led them at the Scottish Championships in March next year.
