Buxton contest returns to famous home

One of the most popular domestic contests in the UK will return to its famous home in 2019.

There is welcome news for bands and brass band supporters that have enjoyed performing and listening at the famous Octagon Theatre at Buxton's Pavilion Gardens over the years, with news that following extensive repairs and renovation work, the popular Buxton Brass Band Festival will return to the venue in 2019.

The own-choice contest will take place on Sunday, 28th April with four sections including a joint Championship/First Section.
