Daniel Thomas has been appointed the new MD at Rivington & Adlington Band

The Rivington & Adlington Band has announced the appointment of Daniel Thomas as their new co-conductor.

The band have been lucky in the past to secure the services of two conductors and Daniel will work alongside MD Malcolm Wilson as they look towards their promotion to the Second Section in 2019.

Looking forward

Malcolm Wilson told 4BR: "We are pleased to have acquired Dan's services and wealth of playing experience and we are all looking forward to working together to consolidate our position in the Second Section."
