The Grimethorpe Youth Band will link up with the composer and conductor Paul Lovatt-Cooper for a Summer Workshop next month.

The free initiative which is supported by Besson Instruments and will also feature star players from the band will be held at the Civic Theatre in Barnsley (S70 2HZ) on Sunday 9th June and is open for all brass and percussion players of Grade 4 standard and above.

Start time

It starts at 10.00am and will finish with a showcase concert for family and friends at 3.30pm.
