Broxburn & Livingston Band will welcome Cory soprano star Steve Stewart back to Scotland next month.

Start of career

The Scotsman, who started career with Armadale Burgh Band on cornet aged 8 has since become one of the world's great soprano players, helping a host of bands to win major honours across the globe — from Cardiff to Christchurch.

Steve will run a free workshop, open to all brass players, from 12.30pm on Saturday 17th August in St Andrew's Church, Livingston, before joining the senior band as the featured soloist in a concert in the evening.
