The National Final judges have been announced

Kapitol Promotions have announced the identities of the teams of adjudicators who will pass judgement on the competing bands at this year's National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall and Cheltenham.

Experience

The experienced trio of Dr Robert Childs, Alan Morrison and Rob Wiffen will be in the box at Kensington Gore in October, whilst there are quite a few years of contesting know-how employed at the Centaur in September.

Commenting on the appointments, Philip Morris (Managing Director, Kapitol Promotions Ltd) stated: "Qualifying for the National Finals is the highlight of a band's contesting season, so we realise the importance of picking the right adjudicators.

We choose adjudicators with a wealth of playing, conducting and adjudicating experience and this year we have managed to secure the services of some of the most talented brass band musicians."

Trainees

He added: "We are also working closely with the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators to provide opportunities for Trainee Adjudicators to hone their skills at this year's Finals in Cheltenham, with more details regarding this being released in the near future".
