Trainee judges announced for Cheltenham

Kapitol Promotions has teamed up with the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators to provide trainee experience in the boxes at the National Finals.

  The event will see trainee adjudicators experience the box in Cheltenham

Kapitol Promotions has released details of the trainee adjudicators who will gain experience as part of the Association of Brass Bands Adjudicators professional development programme.

Trainees

Helen Douthwaite, the principal trombone of the Reg Vardy Band, and Toby Bannan, the well known bass trombonist with a number of leading top-flight bands will be mentored by Nicholas Garman of AoBBA in the First Section.

In the Third Section, another well respected trombonist and conductor Matthew Brown will be mentored by Stan Lippeatt, whilst Martin Heartfield will mentor player and conductor James Holt in the Fourth Section.
