Arrow Valley Brass has informed 4BR of the death of their popular and much respected trombonist Allison Allen.

Much missed

Band spokesperson David Stanley told 4BR: "Ally died without warning while on holiday with her husband Mike. Our first thoughts are with him and her son Ben.

She was a wonderful person and a popular member of the band, totally reliable and supportive. She will be very much missed in the band she loved."

The funeral will be held at Stafford Crematorium, Tixall Road, Stafford (ST18OXZ) at 12.30pm on Wednesday August 28th.
