In the first of three exclusive interviews with Brass Bands England CEO Kenny Crookston on the work and outlook of the Arts Council funded organisation, 4BR Editor Iwan Fox finds out more about what will be on offer with their forthcoming Brass Band Conference.

It will take place on Saturday 28th September at The Life Centre in Sale in Greater Manchester, and is aimed at people with any involvement in banding at all levels.

It will feature a diverse range of speakers, workshops, performances and award presentations.
