Welsh League entries sought to entertain in Penarth

Bands will be able to provide entertainment programmes as they seek to claim the 2019 Welsh League titles on offer in Penarth later this year.

The South East Wales Brass Band Association has announced that they will host the Welsh League contest at Stanwell High School in Penarth on 23rd November.

Entertainment sets

Bands will perform 18-minute (playing time) concert programmes with closed adjudication.

A pre-draw system will be used, and the contest will consist of combined Championship/First Section, Second Section and combined Third/Fourth Section. Youth bands will also be invited to attend and play a 15-minute entertainment programme.

Borrowed players must only be from S.E.W.B.B.A or W.W.B.B.A member bands — but cannot be from Cory or Tredegar who are not part of the Welsh League set-up.
