The West of England Bandsman's Festival has announced that Cory Principal Cornet Tom Hutchinson will be the adjudicator at 96th annual festival in Bugle next year.

The contest will take place on Saturday 20th June with Tom, who recently helped lead Cory to the British Open title and in doing so won the prestigious Stanley Wainwright Solo Award, adjudicating all sections.

As well as playing principal cornet with Cory, Tom is a Professor of Cornet at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, a Besson Artist and Brass specialist with Eventz Music. He is also a cornet tutor for the National Youth Brass Band of Wales and National Children's Brass Band of Great Britain.
